The Parsons Journal for Information Mapping published an article I wrote called ‘Pastiche—A Collective Composition of New York City’ in Volume II, Issue 1 of their academic journal. The essay was based on the process of creating an experimental data visualization called Pastiche, visualizing impressions of New York City neighborhoods via keywords derived from blog entries. The keywords are represented in an interactive, 3D environment that users can explore.
