In the Spring of 2012 I taught a course in the Visual Communication Design program at the University of Washington called ‘Visualizing Interactions’ for undergraduate and graduate students of design. The course focused on interactive data visualization and introduced students to Processing, an open-source programming language. During the second half of the class students used Processing to work on a data-driven application of their choice.
