In 2008 the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) moved to a new location at Columbus Circle, Manhattan, to the former Huntington Hartford building, renovated by the architecture firm Allied Works. As part of the new space, MAD commissioned a suite of dynamic and interactive media installations to promote objects from the collection and help visitors navigate through the building. Christian Marc Schmidt was the Lead Designer for the MAD media installations and website while at Pentagram Design in New York.
